UV Printing Services in Maggie Valley, NC — Full-Color Printing
UV printing is one of the most versatile and visually striking decoration methods available today. Unlike traditional printing that soaks into fabric, UV printing uses ultraviolet light to instantly cure ink directly onto hard surfaces — producing photo-quality, full-color images with crisp detail and brilliant color, no matter how complex your design.
At Thread It & Print, we use UV printing to transform ordinary objects into branded showpieces — from tumblers and drinkware to acrylic signs, gift boxes, golf balls, disc golf discs, and more. If it's a hard surface and relatively flat, there's a good chance we can print on it.

Why UV printing? UV printing produces full-color, photo-quality results that embroidery and screen printing simply can't replicate. It's ideal when you have a detailed logo, gradient colors, or photographic artwork that needs to look exactly right. The UV-cured ink is scratch-resistant, waterproof, and durable, making it a great choice for items that see regular use.
Best for: Detailed, full-color designs on hard surfaces; promotional products with photographic artwork; branded drinkware and gifts; small to medium quantity runs.
UV printing pairs beautifully with laser engraving — many of our clients combine both techniques on the same product for a truly premium result. For example, a leather-wrapped tumbler might have a UV-printed full-color logo on the front and a laser-engraved name or message on the back.

Frequently Asked Questions
What surfaces can you UV print on? UV printing works on most hard, relatively flat surfaces including acrylic, metal, wood, glass, coated plastics, leather, and more. Soft or highly curved surfaces may not be compatible — reach out and we'll advise.
What file format do I need? High-resolution files (300 DPI or higher) work best. Vector files (AI, EPS, SVG) are ideal for logos. Full-color photos and artwork print beautifully as well.
