Welcome to My First Blog Post

Updated: Apr 9

After years of not blogging, I've decided to start a blog! Why? Maybe because everyone says, “You should write a blog!” Or perhaps it's time to share some behind-the-scenes fun at Thread It & Print.

The goal? One blog every two months. That’s right, bi-monthly brilliance. (Or chaos. We’ll see.)

Who We Are (In Case You’re New Here)

We’re a small but mighty crew based in Maggie Valley, NC. We’re family-owned, women-run, and caffeine-powered. Our journey began back in 2018 when we took a wild leap into the world of custom embroidery, screen printing, and laser engraving.

We started in our own little workshop on our property. Just a few machines, a lot of trial and error, and a dream of helping other small businesses bring their brands to life. Fast forward to now: we’re still loving it, learning every day, and getting ridiculously excited when a customer says, “OMG I love it!”

Our Mission

At Thread It & Print, our mission is simple: to provide quality custom products that our customers adore. We’re dedicated to supporting small businesses, and we believe that every design tells a story. We want to help you tell yours.

What to Expect From This Blog

If you’re looking for a super serious, corporate blog... you may have taken a wrong turn somewhere on the internet.

But if you want to read about what it’s like to run a custom printing business in a small mountain town, see cool project highlights, and get tips on choosing promo products, you’re in the right place! We’ll also laugh at the occasional embroidery fail (yes, we all have ‘em).

This blog is going to be a mix of business updates, customer shout-outs, behind-the-scenes tidbits, and who-knows-what-else. If you want something super polished, Pinterest has you covered. But if you want real, stick with me.

Tips for Choosing Promo Products

Picking the right promotional products can be daunting. Here are a few tips to get you started:

  1. Know Your Audience: Understand who you’re targeting. What do they value? What would they find useful?

  2. Branding Matters: Make sure your promo products reflect your brand's identity. They should resonate with your business ethos.

  3. Quality Over Quantity: Don’t just opt for the cheapest option. Choose high-quality items that will leave a positive impression.

  4. Practicality is Key: The best promotional items are those that people will actually use. Think bags, pens, and everyday essentials.

By keeping these points in mind, you can ensure your promotional products effectively represent your brand and resonate with your audience.

Celebrating Our Customers

Here at Thread It & Print, we love celebrating our amazing customers. Each project we complete is a testament to your creativity and trust in us. We can’t wait to feature your stories and projects in upcoming posts. Whether you’re a long-time customer or a newcomer, your experience matters to us!

Sharing Embroidery Adventures

Let’s not forget about those hilarious moments that come with embroidery! Every now and then, we encounter challenges or unexpected results. We’ll share some of our funniest and most memorable embroidery adventures to remind you that we all learn—and laugh—from our mishaps!

Final Thoughts

So there it is—Blog Post #1. Will the next one come out in two months like I promised? Probably. Will it be on time? Let’s not get crazy. But it’s happening, and I’m glad you’re here for the ride.

Thanks for sticking with us. We couldn’t do any of this without our fantastic customers. Now, go order something cool so I have something to blog about next time!

Until next time!
