Oh Great… I’m Starting a Blog

Well, here we are. After years of not blogging, I’ve finally decided to do the thing. I’m starting a blog. Why? Honestly, I don’t know. Maybe because everyone says, “You really should write a blog!” Maybe because I wanted one more thing on my to-do list. Or maybe because it’s time I let y’all in on a little behind-the-scenes fun here at Thread It & Print.

The goal? One blog every two months. That’s right, bi-monthly brilliance. (Or chaos. We’ll see.)

Who We Are (In Case You’re New Here)

We’re a small but mighty crew based in Maggie Valley, NC. We’re family-owned, women-run, and caffeine-powered. It all started back in 2018 when we decided to take a wild leap into the world of custom embroidery, screen printing, and laser engraving.

We started in our own little workshop on our property—just a few machines, a whole lot of trial and error, and a dream of helping other small businesses bring their brands to life. Fast forward to now: we’re still loving it, still learning, and still getting ridiculously excited when a customer says, “OMG I love it!”

What to Expect From This Blog

If you’re looking for a super serious, corporate blog... you may have taken a wrong turn somewhere on the internet.

But if you want to read about what it’s like to run a custom printing business in a small mountain town, see cool project highlights, get tips on choosing promo products, and laugh at the occasional embroidery fail (yes, we all have ‘em)... welcome!

This blog is going to be a mix of business updates, customer shout-outs, behind-the-scenes tidbits, and who-knows-what-else. If you want super polished, go to Pinterest. If you want real, stick with me.

Final Thoughts

So there it is—Blog Post #1. Will the next one come out in two months like I promised? Probably. Will it be on time? Let’s not get crazy. But it’s happening, and I’m glad you’re here for the ride.

Thanks for sticking with us. We couldn’t do any of this without our awesome customers. Now, go order something cool so I have something to blog about next time.

Until next time,

Judy @ Thread It & Print
